Octavia x Abri - Residents Event

We’re really looking forward to seeing you at our resident event on Saturday 10 May at Lord’s Cricket Ground. There’s been a very enthusiastic response to the event so we’d kindly ask that only residents that have registered attend. Families are most welcome; however as we’re at full capacity, we’d please ask that only children who have already been registered with their parent/family come along. 
 

This event is very much about listening to you, our residents, and sharing more with you about our plans for the future. But we’re also keen that you have an enjoyable day, so there’ll be the opportunity to take part in a tour of the Lord’s grounds and activities for children. Keep reading for all the information on the day and how to get there. 

Activities and entertainment for children   

We understand that family comes first, so we know there might be some residents who need to bring their children to the event. Lord’s Cricket Ground have arranged for activities to take place during the event and these are open to all children aged 6 – 12 years. 

There’ll also be a tour of the grounds on offer for a limited number of attendees. If you’re interested in taking part in the tour, please let us know by emailing update@octavia.org.uk and we’ll hold a ballot for spaces. We’ll let you know upon arrival if you’ve got a spot on a tour. 
 

Photography and videography 

It’s really important to us that all residents have the chance to feel a part of the event, even if they couldn’t make it on the day. So, we’ll be capturing some photos and videos to share afterwards. You’ll be asked if you consent to this on the day, but please be aware that incidental image capture might happen – this means that we’re filming a large crowd of people and although individuals won’t be the focus, you might be in the background. 

You can let us know at the event if you do not consent to your image being part of our photos and video and we'll do our best not to include you.
